E and M - Backyard Wedding Bliss - Fremont, Ohio

E & M have been dating since college (yay Bowling Green!) and while I met E in the Art department, I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting M until now! Their love is so pure and sweet, how they look at each other and care for each other even in the normal moments. This was evident from the first moment, backpacking through a state park with a very excited toddler at their engagement session! Once it came time to tie the knot they knew they wanted their wedding to be Family centered (including all their amazing found family) and man they executed it! This backyard wedding was bursting at the seams with excitement, love, comfort, and support, making even me feel like I belonged. From the lovingly prepared homemade food to the meticulously decorated & landscaped backyard, you could feel the level of care and attention their loved ones put into it all. I cant wait for you guys to see these!!

We did take a quick drive over to the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library for their first look, so that they could have a little time just the two of them before the rest of the guests came. I love the golden dappled sun streaming through the trees mixed with the cool tones of the fall shadows. All of it just enhancing the peace, comfort, and love of the moment.

Enjoy! & tell your pet I said hiiiii!

C and S - Rooftop and Speakeasy Wedding - Cleveland, Ohio

C and S actually both attended Bowling Green State University (same as me!) but actually never met!! Once they both finished college and moved back to Cleveland, a mutual friend helped bring the two together. Honestly & truly fate!! They both wanted to show their love for Cleveland and their truly amazing group of friends. I can’t say I’ve seen a TRUE ride or die group like this, full of laughter and inside jokes. They also knew they wanted to have a wedding that showcased a Art Deco/Vintage vibe, and the Metropolitan at the 9 was perfect!

The gorgeous sunny September wedding ceremony was up on the rooftop, with the cleveland skyline all around us and Lake Erie to the right. Cocktail hour after was held in the historic Vaults used by Rockafeller, now turned Speakeasy. A truly gorgeous and unique place! Actually, we did their engagement photos at the 9 as well, and it was so fun to run around and see all the historic and 20s themed spaces. We finished the day in a gorgeous reception room full of pop punk music (uh yes please), dancing, singing, and laughter.

Enjoy!

R and K - Rainy October Wedding - New Philadelpha, Ohio

Hello!

Lets just say R & K (AKA Duck) know how to push through a rainy afternoon, have a good time with all their family and friends, and throw one awesome party!! This wedding is one of my favorites because they truly made this wedding 100% them, and didn’t apologize for it. They also didn’t want to miss out on having all their loved ones involved and with them, and came up with some of the most creative ways to incorporate them all! AKA: Beer Men instead of Flower Girls!! Not to mention, there wasn’t a dry eye in the whole place when it came to speeches, with a combo of side splitting humor and tear jerking stories of love and friendship.

I had such a blast that night, I was laughing all the way to my car while getting soaked. These two are a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll, and a whole lotta love. (Yeah I know I’m cringy, but its TRUE I PROMISE!) Enjoy!

M and A - Hometown Wedding - Dover, Ohio

Hello!

M and A went to the same high school (same as me too!) and briefly dated, but college and early adulthood pulled them in different directions. Not for long though! A few years later brought them back together and they knew this time was forever.

Once it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be centered on the town that brought them together, even if maybe they didn’t live there anymore. Enjoy this beautiful and elegant hometown wedding! Full of close friends and family.
